Houston Airport Bus to downtown
At Houston Airport, the METRO, which stands for the Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority, operates several services from and to downtown Houston and its metropolitan area.
Line Bus 102 is a good public transportation option from IAH Airport.

There are several routes serving the Airport.
Metro Bus 102
It serves the Airport and its surroundings until METRO Station in downtown. Travel time can take between 50 to 90 minutes.
Opening hours: From 05:03 am to 12:59 am. Frequency every 30 minutes.

A single ticket is 1,25$. Only cash.
Where to take the bus?
Pick up and drop off is at the METRO Bus Stop on Baggage Claim Level, south side of Terminal C.
For passengers that want to go to HOU, it is advised to take Metro Bus 102 until Milam and McKinney interesection, walk two blocks east and catch Metro Bus 40. A new ticket will be needed.

To Beaumont and Port Arthur
Some companies offer transportation to Beaumont, Port Arthur, Texas and Jack Brooks Regional Airport (BPT).
United Airlines and Sun Travel Airport Shuttle are in charge of these services.
Buses depart from Baggage Claim Level, south side of Terminal C, Door C-105.
Ground Shuttle
Ground Shuttle offers transportation to College Station, Texas and Easterwood Airport (CLL).

Galveston Limousine Service
This company offers buses to Galveston, Texas. There are daily shuttles departing from Baggage Claim areas in Terminals A, B and C.
Locations:
Terminal A: west side, A-114
Terminal B: south side, B-103
Terminal C: south side, Door C-105
Shuttles depart from Departures, Terminal E
Terminal E: west side, Door E-201
Terminal E: west side, Door E-202
It is necessary to arrange the shuttle service, at least, two days before arriving at the Airport.
