George Bush Airport Terminal D does not serve intentational arrivals at the moment, thus are served in Terminal E. It will begin to operate international flights in 2021. It is also known with the name: Mickey Leland Terminal.
Currently, it has been going on a development programme in order to modernise Terminal D, since it is 20 years old, to ease passenger processing, since it operated over capacity during peak hours. It is expected that the renovation works will last at least until 2021.
